Nappanee Club will be closed May 25 – June 2 to prepare for Summer Programming which will begin on Monday, June 5.
The Nappanee Club members are excited about all the opportunities they have in their after-school program. The Girls in Focus program has a lot of exciting things planned. Michiana Youth Sports League is in full swing, and Bible Time has begun again for the season. We have many other small groups in which our kids can get involved, like Minecraft Club, Lego Movie Club, IT Crowd, Smart Girls and Imagemakers.
The Wakarusa academic help site is open and currently space is limited to 40 members. Children attending the site are selected by the school as students who would benefit from tutoring outside regular classroom hours. Plans are in the works to eventually open the site to all students as a regular extension Club offering programming in all five core areas used by Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
The Boys & Girls Club of Nappanee appreciates their partnership with the Wa-Nee School Corporation, and is in the planning stages of realizing the goal of having a new Club built on Wa-Nee School property. Nearly 400 children are members of the Club, with that number growing steadily each week!
